Maranatha Baptist Church is strategically located for ministering to people in northeastern Anchorage, including military personnel at Fort Richardson and Elmendorf Air Force Base.

Purpose
Maranatha Baptist Church exists to to magnify and glorify our Lord Jesus Christ and to share the Gospel with the people of Anchorage. In addition, we seek to teach the Word of God in order to promote spiritual growth and maturity in the lives of God’s people, while providing a base for warm Christian fellowship.

Our Pastor
Pastor Charles England, his wife Connie, and thier children arrived in Anchorage in January 2005. Graduates of Maranatha Baptist Bible College, Pastor and Connie England previously served God in Orr, MN and Wells, MN.
